Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating two missing teenagers, Lyric Zielstorf and Maya Fenton, both 15 years old. The girls were last seen on Friday, November 12, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Lyric Zielstorf is described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 142 pounds, with long, curly, brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black leggings. Maya Fenton is described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 134 pounds, with long, straight, sandy brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a tie-dye sweatshirt and black leggings.
Authorities are concerned for the girls’ wellbeing and are urging anyone with information on their whereabouts to come forward. The Cedar Rapids Police Department has activated Operation Quickfind in an effort to locate Lyric and Maya.
Operation Quickfind is a program designed to rapidly disseminate information about missing persons and assist law enforcement in locating them. The program is activated when individuals under the age of 18 go missing and are believed to be in danger.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Lyric Zielstorf and Maya Fenton is urged to contact the Cedar Rapids Police Department at 319-286-5491. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-CS-CRIME.
