The Big Ten Conference has released the dates and opponents for the Iowa Hawkeyes’ 2025 football season, including a road opener against Rutgers and a home opener against Indiana. After playing border-rival Wisconsin, Iowa will have three consecutive home games against Penn State, Minnesota, and Oregon – with the Ducks making their first visit to Kinnick Stadium since 1989. This will be the first time since 1949 that the Hawkeyes have had three straight Big Ten home games in Iowa City. In November, Iowa will travel to Los Angeles to face USC, marking the second consecutive year they will play a Big Ten game in LA. The regular season will conclude with a home finale against Michigan State and the annual Black Friday contest against Nebraska. The Hawkeyes and Spartans will meet for the third straight year, with two of those matchups taking place in Iowa City. Iowa fans can look forward to an exciting season filled with key matchups and historic moments as they cheer on their team in 2025.
