Iowa State University students gearing up for finals week can find stress relief by attending the Student Union Board’s “Build Your Own Mental Health Kit” event at the Maintenance Shop on Wednesday. The free event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering students the opportunity to create their personalized mental health kit to help them decompress and relieve stress from studying. The Student Union Board, a student organization at Iowa State, aims to provide a variety of cultural, recreational, and educational entertainment programs for the university community. Attendees can choose from a range of stress-relieving items such as wristbands, fidget toys, stickers, and stress relief tea to include in their kit. Additionally, participants will have the chance to enter a raffle for a heated blanket or an Iowa State winter hat. The event is open to all Iowa State students, and supplies are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
