A drone strike was launched towards Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s house in Caesarea, northern Israel. Netanyahu and his wife were not in the building at the time, and no casualties were reported. The Israel Defense Forces said a drone from Lebanon hit a structure in Caesarea, with two other drones being intercepted. The incident is under review. This attack comes shortly after Israel killed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in the Gaza Strip, who was responsible for terrorist attacks. Netanyahu declared Sinwar’s death as the “beginning of the end” for Hamas, but stated that the war is not yet over. Following Sinwar’s death, Hezbollah, an Iran-backed militant group and Hamas ally, vowed to escalate fighting against Israel. This is a developing story, and further updates are expected.
