Iowa Lt. Gov. Cournoyer Sworn In, Special Election Announced
In Des Moines, newly sworn-in Iowa Lt. Gov. Chris Cournoyer addressed reporters while Gov. Kim Reynolds watched during a ceremony at the Iowa Capitol. Cournoyer resigned from her Iowa Senate seat, triggering a special election for District 35.
