The PGA Tour has been making significant changes in response to competition from Greg Norman & LIV Golf. These changes include new formats, policies, the PGA Tour Studios, TGL, and the search for a new CEO. Notably, the PGA of America recently announced compensation for Team U.S. players in the Ryder Cup. Now, the organization has hired Derek Sprague as the new CEO, replacing Seth Waugh. Sprague, a familiar face in the office and former president of the PGA of America, previously held positions at TPC Sawgrass, Liberty National Golf Club, and Malone Golf Club. It remains to be seen if this move will give the American League an advantage over their Saudi Arabian rivals.
