University of Iowa Health Care (UIHC) is set to open its newest campus in North Liberty in the spring. The campus will offer pharmacy services for both inpatients and outpatients, including a 24/7 drive-thru for prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines. UI Health Care Chief Pharmacy Officer Mike Brownlee expressed excitement about bringing pharmacy services closer to home for patients and employees. The new facility will also house the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, an Emergency Department, and an orthopedic walk-in clinic. Director of Pharmacy Services Courtney Gent noted that the entire campus is shaping up beautifully and new team members are being welcomed. UIHC is currently hiring for the new hospital and is looking forward to continued recruitment. The new campus aims to provide convenient access to healthcare services for patients and the community.
