College President Jesse Ulrich praised their dedication to student success. The retirement package was accepted by 55 percent of eligible employees, with anticipated annual savings of $500,000-$730,000. The college plans to review vacancies to determine if positions should be filled or restructured. The search for a new athletic director will start soon, and the administrative team will assess other positions later. The retirees include faculty, administrators, coaches, and custodians. Kersten expressed excitement for the future and plans to do consulting work. Ulrich emphasized the importance of sustaining fiscal resources to serve students and businesses in the region.
