Öhgren Scores Twice, Iowa Dominates Third Period to Secure 5-2 Victory against Milwaukee


The Iowa Wild dominated the Milwaukee Admirals in a 5-2 victory at Wells Fargo Arena on Saturday night. Liam Öhgren scored two goals, while Jesper Wallstedt made 22 saves. The game remained scoreless after the first period, but Öhgren opened the scoring in the second. Milwaukee tied the game, but Iowa took control in the third period with goals from Öhgren, Bradley Marek, and Carson Lambos. Ozzy Wiesblatt scored for Milwaukee, but Graeme Clarke sealed the win with an empty-net goal. The Wild outshot the Admirals and finished scoreless on power play opportunities. The two teams will face off again on Sunday at 3 p.m.
