Local authorities in Mason City PD are investigating a potential connection between a Wisconsin Rapids man and the unsolved disappearance of TV anchor Jodi Huisentruit. Huisentruit vanished nearly 30 years ago, and her body has never been found. The man in question, Christopher Revak, was believed to be involved in the murder of Deidre Harm and Rene Williams, among other potential cases in different states. The connection between Revak and Huisentruit arose when it was discovered that his first wife lived in Mason City in 1995, the same year Huisentruit disappeared. The Wood County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that they are actively working with Mason City PD to explore this lead further. Sgt. Terrance Prochaska of Mason City PD emphasized that it is crucial to investigate any potential connections in these cold cases. The departments plan to meet in December to review their case files and compare notes in hopes of finding or eliminating a possible connection. The case remains open, and authorities are determined to find justice for Huisentruit and the other victims involved.
