Chilly Winter Weekend Ahead

[ad_1]
Iowa is experiencing a winter chill this weekend, with frigid temperatures and wind chills below zero on Saturday. Despite some filtered sunshine, temperatures will only reach the mid-20s, accompanied by a north breeze of 5 to 15mph. Bundle up if you’re stepping outside, as wind chills will remain in the single digits to low teens. The cold weather will continue into Sunday morning, with temperatures falling back into the teens and single digits. While some sun is expected in the morning, clouds will build up in the afternoon, keeping temperatures cold. Monday will see highs in the mid-20s, but temperatures will climb about 10 degrees into the mid-30s by Tuesday. The warm trend will continue into Wednesday, with highs in the mid-40s. However, another push of cold air is expected for the second half of the week, so make sure to stay warm and bundled up as winter settles in.
