20th Ranked USC Women’s Volleyball Team Dominates Senior Night with Sweep against Iowa

The No. 20-ranked USC women’s volleyball team defeated Iowa in three sets on Senior Night at Galen Center. Senior setter Mia Tuaniga had a double-double with 35 assists and 10 digs, while Ally Batenhorst led with 16 kills. Freshman Favor Anyanwu also contributed with nine kills and two blocks. The Trojans out-hit the Hawkeyes and had more kills, assists, digs, and blocks. USC secured the win with a .419 hitting percentage in the final set. The team now awaits selection into the NCAA tournament, with the bracket set to be announced on Sunday, Dec. 1. This victory marks the Trojans’ sixth 3-0 sweep of the season, improving their home record to 12-4. USC is seeking their 40th overall appearance in the NCAA tournament and their third consecutive under head coach Brad Keller.
