Twenty-four small and mid-sized farms, food processors, and distributors in Iowa are set to benefit from grants totaling nearly three million dollars to enhance local food supply chains. The Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure Program, with Giselle Bruskewitz on the state steering committee, will allocate close to one million dollars to support the state’s wholesale food hubs. This initiative aims to provide more options and strengthen the local food system in Iowa.
