The 98th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is set to take place on November 28 with 22 big balloons, 34 floats, 7 wheeled “balloonicles,” and more. NBC’s “TODAY” show hosts Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Al Roker will lead the parade. The route begins on West 77th Street & Central Park West and ends at Macy’s Herald Square on 34th Street. Public viewing areas along the 2.5-mile route are advised to arrive early. The parade will air on NBC and Peacock. Performances will include Jennifer Hudson, Lea Salonga, T-Pain, and more, along with appearances by New York Liberty members and Broadway stars. New additions to this year’s parade include six new balloons, six new floats, and three new “Balloonicles.” The balloons can be seen being prepared on the Upper West Side the day before the parade. Viewers at home can catch the parade on NBC and Peacock with an encore presentation later in the day. Braving the rain forecasted for the day, the parade promises to be a festive and entertaining event for all.
