Explore the history of Wildwood Cemetery on a walking tour of Brockway this Nov. 2 | Lifestyle

Local historian Rob Keith and cemetery supervisor Ron Feldman will be conducting a walking tour of the Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 1-3 p.m. The cemetery, established in 1866, is the final resting place for many prominent families from the area and Civil War soldiers. In order to raise funds for maintenance and renovations, the Wildwood Cemetery Association is hosting the historical walking tour and other events. Visitors are invited to explore the cemetery and visit the graves of ancestors, family, and friends. Those attending can make a donation at the entrance and enjoy a brown bag lunch consisting of a hot dog, chips, water, and a candy bar for an additional donation. There will be free parking available at Feldman’s yard, located before entering the cemetery. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled for Sunday, Nov. 3 from 2-4 p.m. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the history of the Wildwood Cemetery and support its preservation efforts.
