A vehicle fire in Coralville, Iowa temporarily closed a roadway on Thursday morning. The incident involved a recreational vehicle and a pickup truck that was towing it at 1st Avenue and 9th Street around 9 a.m. Thankfully, all four occupants of the vehicle were able to escape safely, but both vehicles were completely destroyed in the fire. Firefighters responded to the scene and worked to bring the fire under control, temporarily closing 1st Avenue in the process. The road was reopened shortly after the fire was extinguished. No injuries were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
