University of Iowa Health Care sees improvement in latest U.S. News hospital rankings


The University of Iowa’s Health Care system has received national recognition for its performance in the U.S. News & World Report’s “best hospital” rankings for the 2024-25 edition. This marks the first time in several years that the operation has made gains in these rankings. UIHC Medical Center placed in the Top 50 nationally in three adult specialties, including ophthalmology, ear, nose, and throat, and cancer care.
