High school senior Aiden Anderson from Southeast Valley High School has been elected as the secretary for the North Central Iowa District of Future Farmers of America (FFA). Anderson, who has been part of FFA for four years, was elected to this role at the state FFA convention in March. In his new position, Anderson will assist in organizing and facilitating various district functions and leadership training for FFA members. He also serves as the treasurer for his school’s FFA chapter.
Anderson is passionate about participating in various FFA contests, including leadership and career development events, such as parliamentary procedure, soils evaluation, livestock judging, and agronomy. He is dedicated to making a positive impact in his community and within the FFA organization. Anderson expressed his excitement and honor in being elected to the district position and is looking forward to helping inspire and develop FFA members in the district.
Outside of FFA, Anderson lives on a family farm in Paton, Iowa with his parents, Dave and Trena Anderson. He enjoys participating in community service opportunities and is eager to continue his involvement in leadership roles within FFA. Anderson’s dedication and commitment to the organization showcase his passion for agriculture and community development.
